We were very impressed with the facilities and location of this family owned and run hotel when we used it for the first time in June 2003.
It is situated on Clifton Drive North, opposite Ashton Gardens, just off the seafront and close to the shops of this elegant resort.
It has 55 attractively decorated bedrooms, all of which have private facilities, television, radio, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. A lift serves all floors. There is ample car parking in the hotel forecourt.

The dance floor is at ground floor level, spacious and airy.

We have often used this motel for dance events and it has a reputation for good food and hospitality. There is a large car park.

First used in 2006, this is a popular hotel with a very friendly atmosphere.
Owned by Fiona Garth and Tim Norman, it stands on Shaftesbury Road just off the sea front on the South Bay.
It operates to very high standards of food and its accommodation is lovely, each room lovingly refurbished by the owners. There are three ground rooms, two of which are in the garden annexe.
There are 17 bedrooms and we limit the numbers on this holiday to 28 people.
All bedrooms have private facilities, television and radio.
There is no lift but most rooms are on the first floor.
There are 7 parking spaces on the hotel forecourt and plenty of free parking on Shaftesbury Road.

Situated at Quires Gate, between Blackpool and Lytham St Annes, this Pontins Holiday Centre is set in open country looking across to the sand dumes which lie between it and the sea.
The centre is level and easy to get around.
We will be using "Classic" one and two bedroomed apartments, all of which have private facilities, colour television and tea/coffee making equipment, with free electricity, towels and bed linen provided.

Situated about two miles from Lowestoft this Pontins Holiday Centre is set in tranquil Suffolk coastal scenery, the centre is level and easy to get around.
We will be using "Classic" one and two bedroomed apartments, all of which have private facilities, colour television and tea/coffee making equipment, with free electricity, towels and bed linen provided.
Most are at ground floor level.
Leisure Facilities
Bowls (indoor and outdoor), heated indoor swimming pool, croquet, snooker, quizzes, competitions and bingo
Dancing
We will be using the "Prince's Showbar" venue with its fixed dance floor

PONTINS HOLIDAY CENTRE, PRESTATYN, NORTH WALES

Situated on the North Wales coast, Prestatyn is very accessible and is a pleasant resort with lovely beaches.
The Pontins Centre is just a short stroll from them and the site is flat and easy to get around.
We will be using one and two bedroomed "Classic" apartments, all of which have a bathroom, a lounge area and fitted kitchen.
All have a television and bed linen line is supplied.
Towels are not provided and electricity is bought on £1 cards.
A limited number of "Club Class" apartments are avilable at a supplement of £11 per person for the weekend.
This upgrade provides towels, free electricity, daily newspaper, larger TV, microwave and ironing board.
Self Catering
There are many places to eat in the centre from conventional restaurant to fish and chip cafe with plenty of choice between.
There is a supermarket if you fancy cooking for yourself and a "bake and bite" for bread and pastries fresh from the oven!
Leisure Facilities
As well as the dancing, there are other daytime activities such as abseiling, karting, nature trail and an indoor heated swimming pool, plus bingo for those who like a flutter!
