A great weekend of line dancing in the seaside town of Lytham St Annes which lies on the Irish Sea coast. Your hosts for the weekend are the ever popular Alan Birchall and Jacqui Jax.This is first of two dates for 2026, the other being on 20th Nov 2026. The Inn On The Prom may be a little expensive but has always been very popular amongst the KingsHill Family due to its location and wonderful food and hospitaility. When the weather is good, most people sit outside the hotel and take in the lovely coastal location, quite often the hotel put on live entertainment outside, it really makes a great weekend. If you are thinking about it, don't leave it too late to book.Their combined, easy-going teaching and DJ styles make them crowd pleasers wherever they go and they will be joined on Saturday evening by live artiste Nikki Jo Brown.

Alan & Jacqui began line dancing in the 90's. Alan started choreographing in the late 90's, his first dance award was for 'Don't Stop Moving' Advanced Dance of the year 2001, followed by Advanced Dance of the year awards in 2002 and 2003 for 'Somebody Like You'. Alan continued to choreograph dances for all levels, including his classics 'Wave on Wave', 'Before The Devil', Whole Lot of Leaving' and No More Cloudy Days.
In January 2010, Alan was invited to teach at the Crystal Boot Awards, where he was awarded Intermediate Dance of the Year 2009 for his legendary classic 'Human-Dancer'.
In January 2019 Alan & Jacqui received a CBA nomination for TEXAS TIME after it swept across the UK (& abroad) and also topped the Linedancer charts. Most of the 'live' artists have it in their set along with many of Alan's classic dances.in 2020 'Somebody Like You' was awarded UKLDA Intermediate and Above Dance of all time.Alan and Jacqui are UK Ambassadors for LDF and they have taught all over the world and have been hosting at KingsHill events since 2008.
